Granular Boron Fertilizer

Boron is the most important trace element for oil palm to reach high productivity. Its function is linked to many important plant physiological processes, amongst which are: -

• Formation of the pollen tube and pollen vitality
• Transport of carbohydrates in the plant
• Growth of roots, stems, buds and fruits
• Synthesis of proteins
• Fruit setting

SPECIFICATION 

• Boron (B): 10% 
  • Equivalent to B₂O₃: 32.2%
  • Contains 90% of water-soluble boron, immediate availablility to plants
• Pack Size: 25kg

CHARACTERISTICS OF PRODUBOR® 10 :

• Raw material : Ulexite (sodium-calcium double borate), previously grounded for effective acidulation
• More efficient and more effective than powder borate
• Immediate start availability due to :
  • 90% of the boron is soluble in water
• Prolonged residual effect due to : 
  • 10% of the boron is acid soluble
  • effect from granule dispersal
• Better handling due to
  • granule size of 1 mm to 4mm
  • hardness is specially enhanced
• Can broadcast to larger area for better uptake of boron

RATE OF APPLICATION

• Second year: 30gm
• Third year: 50gm
• Mature palm: 60 ~ 80gm

*Application method: Broadcast within palm canopy
