YaraRega® - the first water-soluble granular NPK range for field fertigation

Fertigation and Dry Applied NPKs

YaraRega 13-4-25 is a water-soluble NPK compound fertiliser that is suitable for a range of fertigation systems and can be dry applied. It contains <1% insoluble and can be applied through sprinkler pivots, micro sprinklers and some drip systems. YaraRega 13-4-25 is not suitable for hydroponic systems.

YaraRega 13-4-25 is a granulated compound NPK that has a special coating designed to allow application by open field fertigation and soil application, making it a versatile product. The special coating allows the product to be handled in bulk bags for both application methods and does not affect the dissolution of the fertiliser.

The product is a compound and therefore offers even distribution of nutrients whether dry applied by spreading or fertigation. Part bags can be utilised in application hoppers as all granules contain the stated nutrient content. There is no risk of nutrient segregation during shipping, handling or spreading.

YaraRega 13-4-25 has a balanced nitrogen source, containing both nitrate-N and ammonium-N. A high nitrate concentration is a prerequisite to feed fast-growing crops and ensure good root development, while ammonium-N is important to keep a sustained delivery of nitrogen. In addition, nitrate supports the uptake on positively charged nutrients (Ca++, Mg++, K+).

All phosphorus in YaraRega 13-4-25 is fully plant-available, as water-soluble orthophosphates and ammonium citrate soluble phosphate. The combination of different forms gives greater and a longer-lasting availability of phosphorus to crops over a wide range of soil types.

The potassium source in YaraRega 13-4-25 is based on SOP which improves the production of most fruits and vegetables. Using an SOP-based fertilizer is particularly important for crops with a low tolerance to chloride. YaraRega 13-4-25 is chloride-free which is important when applying potassium during the fruit development/filling stage of sensitive horticultural crops.

YaraRega 13-4-25 contains sulphur. Sulphur is an important component of enzymes and other proteins and is required for nitrate metabolism.

CAUTION

The product is not a flammable material, but if involved in a fire, it may decompose and give off hazardous fumes. Keep away from combustible material.

In case of fire, do not breathe fumes. Flood with water and ventilate freely.

STORAGE

Store away from sources of heat or fire, combustible materials and chemicals.

Store under cover, on a dry and smooth surface, and protect from direct sunlight.

 

BAG MATERIAL

Empty the bag by shaking to remove as much as possible of its contents. Empty bags may be disposed of as non-hazardous material or returned for recycling.

Use recommended application rates.
